Cali Bamboo Debuts Fall Collection of Solid, Click Lock Strand Flooring

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) September 06, 2012

From Cali Bamboo, the green company with the hardest floors in the world, comes a new collection of solid, click lock bamboo floors. The seven new floors include click versions of three customer favorites — Natural, Java and Espresso, and introduce Coffee and Distressed varieties of Natural, Mocha and Sienna. All click lock flooring is wide-plank, making installation faster and more uniform.

The click lock design snaps floorboards together, allowing for an easy floating installation. This technique requires no nails, glue or staples and is especially ideal for do-it-yourself homeowners. With the absence of glue, installers also cut down on cost, mess and fumes.

Cali Bamboos Click Lock collection features solid planks of 100% bamboo. This is in contrast to most other click lock bamboo floors on the market — made of engineered wood with a thin layer of bamboo overlaying a plywood base. In its August/September 2012 issue Hardwood Floors magazine, a publication of the National Wood Flooring Association, published that although properly made material is usually fine, its much more difficult to make a reliable engineered bamboo than it is to make a reliable engineered hardwood. Flooring planks that are solid bamboo all the way through are more uniform and boast the same strength and durability as other Cali Bamboo
