Chad Udell Offers Mobile Guidance for the Enterprise in New Book Learning Everywhere

Morton, IL (PRWEB) June 18, 2012

Chad Udell, mobile design and development expert and managing director of Float Mobile Learning, announced today the release of his new book, Learning Everywhere: How Mobile Content Strategies are Transforming Training.

A must-read for HR administrators, instructional designers, and learning and development professionals, Chads book addresses the nuances of planning, designing and developing mobile content for training purposes.

The goal for this book from day one was to create a practical guide for developing mobile training initiatives in organizations, Udell said. People have been talking about the opportunities mobile has for training and HR departments for a long time, but Learning Everywhere puts it all into a practical context. Scribbling in the margins is encouraged.

Learning Everywhere takes readers through the lifecycle of developing mobile content strategies for enterprise training, from planning and content choices to design and development. In the book, Udell introduces four pillars for mobile training content, establishing a framework and industry standard.

Udell proves the value of informal learning in addition to the formal, structured learning that takes place via mobile devices. Learning Everywhere offers strategic thinking that is immediately applicable in the workplace.

Whether you are just beginning to investigate mLearning or have a project or two under your belt, this will surely become your go-to book, offers mobile learning analyst Judy Brown in the books foreword. This is a how-to manual for mobile learning.

Learning Everywhere is published by RockBench Publishing in concert with the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD).

Copies are available in hardcover or in digital format via Apples iBooks and Kindle format on Amazon.
