New Book Offers Unique Analysis of the Holocaust

WINSTON SALEM, N.C. (PRWEB) July 24, 2012

In his new book The Sacrificial Lamb: Why God Allowed the Holocaust (published by iUniverse), author Joey W. Kiser offers readers his interpretation of how the Holocaust was not a sign of God forsaking His Jewish followers. Kiser contests that the Holocaust and what he sees as thousands of years of atrocities prove that God has named the Jews His chosen people.

Kiser uses biblical examples, as well as historical references, to build his case for the theory that the Holocaust was part of Gods plan. He suggests that the Jewish people were chosen to be sacrificed so the world would not perish a sacrifice to ward off the Devils plan to destroy mankind. The book also explores a theoretical world in which the Holocaust never occurred, offering insights into how different things today would be.

An excerpt from The Sacrificial Lamb:

Most of the evil in the world is done by people who cant see the truth. They are plagued with hate, lust, prejudice, deception, power, and even religion. If mankind is ever going to find peace in this world, it must find the truth. Once truth is established in the minds of the world, the falsehoods and deceptions will wither away and die.

The Sacrificial Lamb presents Kisers call to action in which he asks people to seek understanding and open their minds and hearts to truth. He believes that through these efforts mankind will usher in a time of peace and love.

The only way to combat deception is to show the truth, says Kiser. This book will show the world the truth. Then everything will fall into place and mankind will live in peace for 1,000 years.

New Book Examines Strategies to Protect Brands Using Trademark and Unfair Competition Law

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) June 18, 2012

Brand infringements and other trade identity threats are increasing at an alarming rate in todays Internet and celebrity-driven society, according to the authors of a new book that offers strategies for protecting and enhancing those brands.

Jonathan S. Jennings and J. Michael Monahan, in their new book, Trademarks and Unfair Competition: Critical Issues in the Law, focus on the most important issues facing businesses and individuals in preventing their hard-won brands from being preyed upon through infringement or unfair practices.

We wanted to create something that used our experience to help businesses, individuals or attorneys have a greater understanding not only of the risks and problems that they face, but of the best strategies to combat the infringement, Jennings said.

“In many cases a companys brand is its chief asset,” said Monahan, “so it is critical that a business know where the greatest risk is coming from, and then how to best protect against it.”

The book covers such topics as trademark dilution law; the protection of brand names on the Internet, including domain names; enforcement options against gray goods; identity rights; and strategies and other guidance for navigating the federal trademark registration process.

Both Jennings and Monahan are partners with Chicago law firm Pattishall McAuliffe.

Jennings, a graduate of Northwestern University School of Law, has counseled clients in a broad cross-section of industries on various aspects of intellectual property law.

Monahan, a graduate of Louisiana State University School of Law, focuses primarily on trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets, and helps his clients establish, develop and protect their brand assets.

Chad Udell, mobile design and development expert and managing director of Float Mobile Learning, announced today the release of his new book, Learning Everywhere: How Mobile Content Strategies are Transforming Training.

A must-read for HR administrators, instructional designers, and learning and development professionals, Chads book addresses the nuances of planning, designing and developing mobile content for training purposes.
