Tech 21 iPad Mini Cases Available From Mobile Fun

Birmingham, West Midlands (PRWEB UK) 24 October 2012

Once again the world stood in awe as Apple announced the iPad Mini; the smaller sized tablet to rival both the Google Nexus 7 and the Kindle Fire HD. Thinner than a pencil and as lights as a pad of paper, the iPad Mini is out to impress and silence its critics.

In order to help keep the iPad Mini looking newer for longer, Mobile Fun have sourced a wide range of iPad Mini case styles from a number of brands including the Tech21 Impact Snap with Cover, a truly protective case which uses state of art technology, like the iPad itself.

Designed to be slimline and extremely protective the Tech 21 iPad Mini case uses an innovative substance called d3o impactology technology to ensure that the iPad is fully protected from daily bumps, drops, scrapes and scratches. Built into the case, the d3o substance hardens upon impact, therefore absorbing any shocks which may have otherwise damaged the iPad Mini.

Covering the entire new smaller iPad, the Impact Snap With Cover iPad Mini cover clips onto the back of the tablet and uses a front cover to protect the 7.9″ display of the iPad Mini when the tablet isn’t in use. However, when the iPad Mini is being used the front cover can be folded back to become a handy stand, allowing the Mini to be stood at the perfect angle for typing, swiping, using apps and streaming media.

Featuring the new Lightning connector port the iPad Mini runs a powerful A5 chip, has two cameras, one perfect for FaceTime and the other great for capturing memories and allows for ultra-fast internet connections. With Apple’s focus being on iBooks the iPad Mini also aims to be the ultimate reading tool for on the go, so protection like that offered by the Tech21 Impact Snap with Cover is vital.

So that the iPad Mini is always protected, the Impact Snap with Cover contains all the cut-outs for the ports and features of the iPad, so that other iPad Mini accessories can be used without removing the cover. This keeps the iPad Mini fully protected at all times, even when charging so that it continues to look newer for longer.

The Tech21 Impact Snap with Cover is available to pre-order now from Mobile Fun, along with a range of other iPad Mini cases from brands such as Cygnett, Gumdrop and Trident.

MINI the New Power Word in Special Event DJ Entertainment

Orlando, Fla. (PRWEB) June 07, 2012

Mix on Wheels, an Orlando-based entertainment DJ vehicle company, is nominated for two special event industry Orlando WOW Awards for their latest design, the MINI Copper Xtreme Clubman: Best Event Innovation and Best Technical Achievement.

This event entertainment product is the first of its kind in such a compact, self-contained form and features a built-in professional Pioneer DJ system, PA system with wireless Shure microphone for emcee capabilities, LED lights built into the interior and exterior of the product, brilliant LCD screens for daytime/nighttime custom media playback, Lamborghini doors and much more.

An external power source is not an issue, which allows the MINI Cooper Xtreme Clubman to bring incredible entertainment offerings to locations where events were previously deemed impossible, including smaller venues. This includes indoor locations, as it meets all requirements for indoor venue parking.

Because of its chameleon-like characteristics due to its customizable exterior and media, this product is also a huge win for experiential and brand marketing campaigns.

Founded by Charles Miles in 2008 and winner of the national 2011 ISES Esprit Award for Best Industry Innovation, Mix on Wheels was most recently featured in the Orlando Sentinel and as entertainment for the 2nd Annual Downtown Disney Car Masters Weekend in Lake Buena Vista, FL, which also featured appearances by Jay Ward, CARS franchise guardian, Pixar Animation Studios and automotive designer Chip Foose of Foose Designs and the TLC reality series, Overhaulin.

The Orlando WOW Awards is a yearly special event industry recognition program sponsored by local special event organizations ABC, NACE, ISES, MPI and HSMAI. This years winner will be announced at the ISES Orlando June event taking place at the Orlando Science Center on Thursday, June 21, 2012.

No Small Parts: The Role of Scale Models in Theater Set Design Opens at The Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures on September 18, 2012

Tucson, AZ (PRWEB) July 12, 2012

No Small Parts features the works of talented local scene designers whose masterful maquettes were created for productions by Arizona Opera, the University of Arizona School of Musics Opera Theater, the University of Arizona School of Theater, Film and Television and Arizona Theater Company.

A scene designer must interpret the script under the guidance of the director and define that world as it will appear on the stage. To be tasked with representing fearsome forces of nature or conveying deeply wrought emotions with little more than light and a few well placed scenic elements are creative challenges that can best be reworked and resolved in miniature. says The Mini Time Machine Museum Executive Director, Nina Daldrup. This exhibit will allow the viewer a glimpse of the artistic problem solving that happens behind the scenes.

In addition to full-color scale models, this exhibit will also include the designers scale drawings, white models and theatrical production photographs, illustrating the progressive phases of set design and the final outcome of the process in full scale on the stage. The work of scene designers Sally Day and Clare Rowe will be featured, among others.

Artists Biographies:

Sally Day is a freelance scene designer based in Tucson. Productions include Arizona Operas 2004 production of Il Tabarro / I Pagliacci and 2012 production of Cavalleria Rusticana / I Pagliacci. Ms. Day has designed nearly a dozen presentations for the U of As School of Music Opera Department. Other companies she has designed for include: Arizona Repertory Theatre Company, Borderlands Theatre, Bloodhut Theatre, Southwestern Ballet Company Dance Festival, New Articulations Dance Company (as Lighting Designer), a.k.a. theatre and Pima Community College. Ms. Day has trained outside of Tucson as both a scenic artist and design assistant at the Illinois Shakespeare Festival in Bloomington, Illinois.

Clare Rowe has worked professionally as a scene designer and painter for over 25 years. Rowe is an Associate Professor at the University of Arizona School of Theater, Film and Television. She teaches scenic painting, theatre graphics and scene design and supervises scenic production in properties and paints for all department productions.
