This year, the company is pleased to announce their acquisition of 51 additional Arby’s locations in the region. The company also sold their five Denny’s Restaurants due to lack of growth opportunities and support from the fanchisor. 35 to 40 of the Arby’s locations will be remodeled and updated to meet a new image standard for interior design and operation, and certain low volume stores will be converted into Burger King and Popeye’s Chicken locations to boost demand. The company will additionally build 15 new Arby’s locations in the metroplex over the next five years, keeping up with a growing market for fast food variety in the area.
