Former Bookit.com Call Center Manager Todd Belcher will join the company and assist with acquiring new partnerships with Gulf Coast properties from Panama City Beach to New Orleans. Todd’s experience and relationships in the local travel industry will help TripShock increase its market share in a very competitive destination. The company is also proud to announce that it has planned to double their reservation staff going into 2013.

Todd is a senior consultant on the Service Assurance Team at A&I Solutions and is certified in Introscope, CEM, and APM. He is experienced with IT management over multiple disciplines including: database administration, architecture, and product and program management.

He explains, I enjoy working with customers on implementations and education of best practices. Though, what I really love is working with data contained to provide clear information to non-technical individuals and groups.

Todd specializes in database administration, application development, and application support. Before becoming an A&I employee, Todd worked for several companies as an Applications Developer/Database Administrator and managed several development teams. His past work experience has given him the skill set to differentiate himself from others in the workforce.

Since becoming a member of the A&I Service Assurance Team, Todd has worked with a number of companies, some including: JCPenney, Sun Trust, McKesson, Bank of America, and JPMorgan Chase and Co.

Recommendation

I recently completed working with Todd on a 6-month Wily project for a large financial institution. Todd was an instrumental member of the project team. From early on he established excellent relationships with the customers technical team members. Todd ensured that we have excellent documentation that describes in detail the customers technical environment and produced detailed process documentation. He coordinated the day-to-day activities of the entire technical team to ensure that they follow up on issues on a timely basis and focus their work on the top technical issues. In addition, Todd took on many of the tough technical challenges himself and was diligent to follow them through to resolution. I relied on Todd heavily to ensure the technical team works at their highest level of productivity. Todd is a valuable addition to any project team and I would be glad to work with him again in the future.

Todd Hart Named New CEO of Narragansett Bay Insurance Company

Narragansett Bay Insurance Company (NBIC) announced today that Todd Hart has been named the companys Chief Executive Officer after a national search. Narragansett Bay founder Nick Steffey will continue as Executive Chairman.

As CEO, Mr. Hart will be responsible for executing NBICs multi-year strategic plan as the company continues to grow as the No. 1 choice for responsible homeowners. Mr. Hart will lead the NBIC team in assuring underwriting effectiveness, risk management, production efficiency, quality service, and cost management.

Todd has a rare combination of gifts, which is why I am excited that he will lead our team and bring Narragansett Bay to its next phase of development, said Nick Steffey. He brings an energetic, entrepreneurial mindset and experience base that combines intellectual rigor with analytical skills, operational savvy, and a track record of building high performance teams.

Mr. Hart has over twenty years of experience in a variety of financial services leadership, investment management and analytical posts. Most recently, he served as CEO of the Swiss-based Glacier Group, where he led the companys strategy reorganization and provided operational management in underwriting, claims and risk. Prior to that role, he managed insurance and catastrophic risk investments and trading at the Dallas-based hedge fund, HBK Capital Management (since 2003), and its related entities (since 2000). During that time, he chaired or served on the underwriting, compensation, investment and finance, risk management, accounts and audit committees of the boards of directors of a variety of HBK investments. Previously, he worked for nine years in New York City for JP Morgan & Co., where he identified and executed mergers and financing of Fortune 1000 clients.

He received his MBA from Harvard Business School, and an AB in Economics from the University of North Carolina, where he was a Morehead Scholar. He was also a Henry Luce Foundation Scholar, accepting a grant to study and work in the emerging markets in Asia at the Securities Exchange of Thailand. A resident of Dallas, Texas, Mr. Hart plans to relocate to the Rhode Island area.
