Chicago Internet Marketing Company Announces Affordable Website Design Offering

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) July 31, 2012

August 1st will mark the official launch of SmartSites, a new concept in affordable website design from the Chicago Internet Marketing company SmartROI Consulting. Citing the need for something more sophisticated than a generic template site and less expensive than custom web design, SmartROI is rolling out the new service on their website and will begin scheduling consultations immediately.

Traditionally, websites created from the ground up have had a very high cost because of the number of hours that it takes to produce the graphics, coding, and other components. The alternative for cost-conscious businesses has always been to go without, to keep an outdated site (both in style and functionality), or to resort to very unprofessional and generic looking template sites.

What we have done is assemble a very flexible set of the most commonly used layouts, and then we listen to the client and customize each project according to their business needs, says Elijah Litscher, Owner of SmartROI Consulting. By repurposing a basic structure, a small business can save hundreds or thousands of dollars on their website investment.

To accomplish this, SmartROI uses modified WordPress themes that have already been created and tested. These WordPress themes can then be tailored to each client, meaning that no SmartSite custom website design will ever look the same. They are each as unique as the businesses that we work with, says Litscher.

WordPress is an open-source content management website design platform, the basis for almost 15 percent of the top million websites in the world, making up nearly one quarter of all new websites created every day. The main benefits of using the WordPress platform are its content management system, its reliability when it comes to being search-engine friendly, and its ability to be rendered universally on mobile devices and tablets.

According to Litscher, Since many of our clients also are in the need of SmartROIs Internet marketing services, it makes sense for us to deliver our SmartSites on a platform that makes it easy for businesses to build great content on their own. Search engines like Google are rewarding sites with great content and modern design with high rankings in their search results, and that can mean a lot of revenue for small businesses.

Chicago Porch Construction Expert Shares Advice on Adhering to Porch and Deck Inspection Codes

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) July 01, 2012

In 2003, sweeping reforms were made by The City of Chicago to ensure the safety of balconies, porches and decks. The City began conducting extensive inspections. As a result, any deck or porch built before 2003 must meet specific codes or property owners will receive a citation from the City of Chicago, altering them they are in violation.

Homeowners, condo associations and management companies should be proactive before they receive a visit from the City Inspectors, said Frank Knight, owner of Mr. Porch. Mr. Porch has built over 400 porches in Chicago and the surrounding area and has never failed an inspection. Renters are finding their questionable decks and porches as a reason to withhold payment from property owners. Tenants are taking note of potential problems with their deck and porch, and notifying their landlord or property owner, said Frank. If no action is taken to make repairs, dwellers can call 311 to request an inspection by a building inspector.

What are inspectors looking for? Building inspectors perform porch and deck inspections, inspecting all elements of the porch including; the joists, beams, columns, stairs, hand and guard rails, ledger boards, connections and footings. All decks and porches must be able to support 100 pounds per square foot.

We perform two on-site inspections with the City of Chicago, one for footing and the second on-site inspection is for the final inspections. We expedite every drawing through the Citys Department of Construction and Permitting. We go to court for our customers for free, we can’t represent you, but we could testify that we have entered into a contract and we are moving forward to bring your building into compliance with the City of Chicago, said Frank.

Mr. Porch can provide architectural designs and plans. They also include a six month maintenance check and 2 year warranty on all porches.

We want to help homeowners get up to code, said Frank. To help, they are offering free inspections and free estimates. If you are not sure about your deck, you can call us up and can let you know if your porch is up to current code, free of charge, said Frank

Chicago Pneumatic Debuts CP Nano Series Rotary Screw Air Compressors

Rock Hill, S.C. (PRWEB) June 18, 2012

Chicago Pneumatic, a global leader in portable and stationary compressor technology, today announced the introduction of the new CP Nano Series rotary screw air compressor, built for high-efficiency, continuous operation and reduced operating costs in a compact, workspace-saving design.

The CP Nano Series includes five models ranging from 3-15HP to meet the demands of a wide range of automotive and light industrial applications. Designed to work continuously 24/7 when needed, the CP Nano provides stable air output at 125 psig or 150 psig standard with high-efficiency airends/elements that produce drier, cooler air up to 80 percent cooler than from a comparable piston compressor. It also features load/no-load operation with timed shutdown (CPN 5.0-7.5 single phase, CPN 10-15) to enhance durability and conserve energy.

The CP Nano Series provides customers with an advanced, high-quality rotary screw compressor that has the capacity for continuous operation in a heavy-duty environment like much larger, more expensive compressors, said Ellen Steck, President, Chicago Pneumatic. Yet its reduced footprint, energy efficiency and longer maintenance intervals make the CP Nano Series overall cost of ownership among the most affordable of any compressor on the market.

Each compressors compact dimensions take up less workspace compared to equivalent-power piston compressors. The CP Nano is also engineered with the air intake, air outlet and air cooling on the same side, making installation and ducting easier and less expensive.

When outfitted with an optional integrated refrigerant dryer, the CP Nano produces air that is stored in the receiver before entering the dryer. This design uses less energy and reduces maintenance, load on the dryer and pressure pulsations in the network.

When we were designing the CP Nano, we worked from our customers viewpoints to ensure we thought of everything to make the experience of owning and using the CP Nano as beneficial as possible, Steck said. For instance, all of the CP Nanos key maintenance components belts, air filters and oil filters are placed on one side for easy access and service. And with no wearing parts and longer maintenance intervals, the CP Nano reduces operating costs compared to an equivalent-power piston compressor.

Like all CP rotary screw compressors, the CP Nano Series is backed by a CP Secure 5-year warranty with no contracts or service agreements necessary. (Authorized start-up required.)

Overall, the CP Nano Series brings rotary screw technology and high-efficiency design to customers who are seeking a compressor thats cost-effective and enables their growing business to be even more productive, Steck said. The CP Nano also delivers the same dependable performance that people expect from Chicago Pneumatic.
