Media Design School students receive Interactive Gaming scholarships

Two Interactive Gaming students from Media Design School have recieved a generous scholarship toward their first year of study, from Wellington-based game studio Sidhe and mobile publisher PikPok.

Harrison Thrupp and Christopher Howlett, both currently enrolled in Diploma Of Interactive Gaming, were granted $ 2300 each and an internship at the studio. Students were selected based on their commitment, potential and enthusiasm for the industry.

As the NZ games industry continues to go from strength to strength, we are proud to support emerging local talent in partnership with Media Design School, said Mario Wynands, Managing Director of Sidhe and mobile publisher PikPok.
